Weekend Update!

Crystal, Shannon and I had quite a busy weekend with not one but two Baby Sales / I've Outgrown It Sales! They were great success' and I hope you managed to make it out and scoop up some deals! I just wanted to share with you some pics from our weekend:

Saturday we started in Sherwood Park. Shannon (my sister-in-law) has been very busy launching her home-based business, Sweetness By Design, handmade party decor. Cupcake toppers, cake toppers, birthday and baby shower banners, favour tags, you name it, she will make it! Shipping available too! Her stuff is ADORABLE! You definitely need to contact her if you are planning an upcoming birthday party! Email her at scoulombe@telus.net for more information. She has an awesome display and the following are some pictures of it:

Some close ups of the different designs she has to choose from.

She makes awesome banners too.

Her complete display in Sherwood Park.

Here is Shannon with her display.

She has so many themes to choose from and also takes custom orders too!

She made these "Robin" cupcake toppers for her son's (my nephew's!) 5th birthday party. Aren't they fantastic? She even baked her own cupcakes and cake for the displays!

This is a sample of a cake topper she could make or custom any other styles.

Such cute stuff! I wish her the best of luck and I know she will have great success with this venture!

Here was my display on Saturday in Sherwood Park. I am starting to have a lot of products and space is always an issue!

I developed a large poster size photo we had taken of Crystal's daughter, Sienna, last year for our displays. It only cost ~$20.00 to develop at Costco and the quality turned out super! I was so pleased. I put it on an easel that I had bought at Boardwalk in Cold Lake before it closed and it was a real eye catching element between Crystal and my tables.

Some of my sweet-e-clips Sweet Treats Blankie Cupcakes and Wash Cloth Lollipops With Spoon. I also sold some Nursing Covers that I had made and are great.

My main table with the sweet-e-clips soother clips, Q"D"BELTs, mitten clips and bow ties. Lots of awesome compliments on the products and lots of sales! I also handed out TONS of business cards so I look forward to hearing from some of you!

This was my set up in Sherwood Park. So many cute things to choose from! I am pleased to say that my set up and take down is finally pretty organized so that is a blessing!

Crystal's youngest daughter Chloe came out to support us too! She loves her milk. Poor little thing was fighting getting sick but was still the sweetest little girl ever!

Crystal chatting with one of her MANY customers in Sherwood Park. People are ALWAYS taken by how cute her stuff is for girls! I even picked up a couple of things for myself! Check out more about Hair Petals or send her an email!

Shannon was getting so many compliments! She has been working so hard and it really shows!

Myself and my display. I was very happy with how the sale went. The organizers did a wonderful job and it was such a positive and fun experience! I will be attending this sale again for sure! Visit here to see all the products I was selling at the shows and more being added all the time. You can email me too with any comments, questions, custom orders etc.

Chloe and Mommy at the Hair Petals booth. Crystal has so many beautiful hair clips, headbands, beanies and many other pieces all handmade in her "free" time!

Her display is so colorful; spring is has to be here when you see stuff like this!

Our three tables together in Sherwood Park. We are just waiting for the doors to open and the shoppers to hit the floor running!

This part is VERY important! A HUGE thank-you goes out to my wonderful husband Calvin this weekend. He was (and always is) an amazing support. He packed vehicles, drove, carried boxes, got coffees, babysat Chloe and so much more! I could not have done it without him! I never once complained! He would be so embarrassed to see this, but I can't let it go unsaid.

Chloe loves Calvin and he looks so happy with her here! They shopped and walked around for a couple of hours together and then they...

crashed! Calvin came to the conclusion that 18 months is a difficult age to keep up with and that nap time was a good time!
Sunday took us to Beaumont. They have their sale in the Spring and Fall. I have attended the past several and had a good time. Just a few pics from there:

Crystal and my tables together in the curling rink in Beaumont. There was lots of room and lots of vendors. Well organized as usual. To bad the weather didn't cooperate and it was quite cold in there!

Crystal's things where a hit in Beaumont too!

My table in Beaumont. I had a few customers that suspected I would be there and came back to buy more of my things! Thank-you so much! I think that is the greatest compliment / feedback to have a repeat customer speaking to how much they love you stuff. Very much appreciated!

In Beaumont they actually let you drive in to unload and load your things and it worked very well this time. Here is just a glimpse of some of the other vendors. Lots of deals to be had, let me tell you!

Shannon setting up her display to launch her business in her home town of Beaumont! Lots of interest and orders for her!

Vendors shopping from each other before the sale opens to the public!

Shoppers lining up to get in and get at it! Thanks to everyone who visited our tables!
Well this turned into a long post but it was a busy weekend and I wanted to capture some of what it was like for you to see! The next Baby Sale / I've Outgrown It Sale we are attending is May 14 in Leduc and it is VERY popular! See you there!
Chalotta :)
